ONCC Certification Awards

Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse® of the Year Award (OC02)

Award: A $1,000 award and a crystal award.

Purpose: To recognize outstanding achievements of an AOCN^®, AOCNP or AOCNS certified nurse.

Selection Criteria: The nominee must be a current AOCN^® AOCNP or AOCNS. Members of the ONCC Recognition Subcommittee and the ONCC Board of Directors are not eligible to be nominees, to nominate individuals, or to provide recommendations for nominees. Nominees must demonstrate leadership and accomplishments in the promotion of oncology nursing certification; and oncology nursing service; as well two of the following areas of advanced oncology nursing practice: clinical practice, education, administration/case management, or research.
