Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Renewal Web Course
Renew Your Provider Card Online With the ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Renewal Web Course!
This self-paced, web-based renewal course is designed for nurses who have passed the ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Course and have a desire to renew their chemotherapy provider card.
The renewal course offers information on practice issues, including error prevention and safe handling. The course also features case studies focusing on area under the curve (AUC) dose calculations and symptom management as well as information on newly-approved medications. Students participating in the web course have access to a monitored discussion board and 24-hour access to the course. Students may also print out the information you would like to keep from the course for later reference.
All students interested in this course are advised to review the Technical Requirements before purchasing the course.
Register now to complete the renewal and earn an updated provider card. You will have 15 days to complete the course.
Students who have successfully completed the post test and course evaluation will be able to print their CNE certificate and an updated provider card approximately 5 business days after the course has closed.
ONS contacts provider card holders approximately two months before their cards are due to expire. Card holders receive a letter explaining changes in the renewal system and instructions needed to access and use the course.
Web-based students will receive 2.5 contact hours of continuing nursing education (CNE) upon the successful completion of the program and course evaluation. Visit Learning Objectives for more information.
You must complete the entire course, successfully pass the course post-test, and complete the online course evaluation by the course end date in order to earn CNE and to earn the Provider Card affiliated with this course.
