What are my course options?
Two course selections are available each month. Course begin on the 1st and 15th of the month, providing these are business days. ONS will not start a course on a day when staff are not available to assist students if needed.
Is there a registration deadline?
Online registration closes one week before the start of the course.
How much does the course cost?
Course tuition is $29 for members and $34 for nonmembers if you register to complete the course before the end of the month in which your provider card expires.
Can I access the course as soon as I pay?
You will not have immediate access to the course you have selected. Within 48 hours of the course start date, you will receive an email from ONS University providing you with instructions.
How long do I have to complete the course?
Once the course begins, you’ll have 24-hour access for 15 days and can work at your own pace to complete it.
My provider card expired. Can I still renew?
Yes! You can renew by registering to complete one of the two Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Renewal Web Courses available the month following the expiration of your of your card. ONS considers the expiration date the last day of the month in which your card expires. You will, however, need to pay an additional fee of $25. The price for renewing during the month after your card expires is $54 for members and $59 for nonmembers.
How do I pay my late fee?
The eSource payment page will automatically charge $54 for members and $59 for nonmembers if registering to complete one of the two courses available during the month after the expiration of the provider card.
How long does it take to receive my certificate and provider card?
Your CNE Certificate and Provider Card will be retrievable via the ONS Website. This environmentally-friendly version can be accessed until the card expiration date. The card is formatted for you to clip and put in your wallet or provide to an employer. Email notification of availability to print will be sent
approximately 5 days after the course closes
. The certificate does not have an expiration date and will be available to print free of charge as needed.
