First-Time Attendee FAQs
Heading to Congress for the first time? We want to make sure you have all the information you need to make your conference experience a memorable one. Here are some FAQs to help you make the most of the conference.
- What Is the ONS Information Station?

The ONS Information Station, located in the exhibit hall, is your one-stop ONS information shop. You can join or renew, learn about how to get involved, find information on CNE and publications, take advantage of career resources, learn how to get involved with ONS, connect to your colleagues, and more, all in one convenient location.
When the exhibit hall is closed, representatives from ONS will be stationed around the exhibit hall to answer questions and provide assistance.
- Where Is the Internet Café?

Need to check your email? Visit the Internet Café located outside the exhibit hall. It will provide you with free Internet access so that you can check your email remotely.
- Where Can I Network With Other Attendees?

Check out the chatter online! The ONS Facebook page, Twitter, and YouTube channel all feature conference information. They’re a great way to connect to other attendees before, during, and after the conference.
- How Do I Get CNE for the Conference Sessions I Attended?

Complete your conference evaluation on the ONS Evaluation Center. This quick and convenient format allows you to enter your evaluation data and comments from the comfort of your office or home. By completing the online evaluation you will get your conference CNE certificate im-mediately. You will have until May 26 to complete your evaluation if you use the online system.
- How Can I Help at the Conference?

Interested in serving as a room monitor or at the local chapter booth, please contact the Boston chapter, or you can also contact ONS toll free at 866-257-4ONS or email us.
Don't Forget To…
- Bring your confirmation letter with you make it easier to get your materials on site.
- Use the itinerary builder to customize your conference experience.
- Attend satellite symposia and ancillary events. Satellite symposia provide additional CNE, while ancillary events are informational programs on hot topics in cancer care. Both provide opportunities to learn while enjoying a meal and connecting to colleagues.
- Complete and submit your conference evaluation to earn CNE.
