Goal
The goal of the ONS 35th Annual Congress is to offer interactive learning experiences and networking opportunities for oncology nurses to impart excellence in oncology nursing and quality cancer care.
Objectives
- Describe innovations in cancer care.
- Identify ways to integrate and disseminate information to support evidence-based cancer care.
- Discuss current issues and trends in cancer care.
- Participate in an environment of peer networking, collaboration, and rejuvenation.
- Evaluate strategies to support and sustain the profession of oncology nursing.
- Examine ethical issues related to cancer treatment and patient/nurse relationships.
- Identify strategies to support and sustain self-care and spiritual growth.
Accreditation
ONS is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's (ANCC's) Commission on Accreditation.
Accreditation as an ANCC provider refers only to its continuing education activities and does not imply endorsement of any commercial products.
ONS is approved as a provider of continuing education by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider #2850.
Credits earned at Institutes of Learning qualify for the Oncology Nursing Certification Points Renewal Option (ONC-PRO) needed for Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation certification renewal.
