ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Course
May 11-12 • 8:00am-5:00pm
Worth 13.5 contact hours, this course focuses on the theoretical knowledge base needed to administer these treatments, including cellular kinetics, drug classifications, safe handling, administration, side effect management, and patient education. Those who successfully complete the course and post-test will receive a provider card indicating they've taken the course and have the knowledge necessary to administer these treatments. Attendees will receive a copy of ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Guidelines and Recommendations for Practice as well as detailed handout materials at the course.
Treatment Basics: Antineoplastic Therapy in Nononcology Settings

Designed for nurses in other disciplines and those new to oncology, this course will focus on the administration, monitoring, and safety concerns of antineoplastic agents in nononcology settings.
