Sessions
Congress sessions are presented in different learning formats and categorized by practice level, so you can choose the ones that fit your educational needs.
Session Formats Fit Your Learning Style
Congress sessions are presented in different educational formats, so pick the learning style you prefer:
-
Instructional Sessions: These sessions provide "how to" information and opportunities for questions and discussion.
-
Discussion Sessions: In these sessions, a particular topic is introduced by several discussants, followed by audience participation and discussion. These sessions focus on practical aspects of a topic and allow for advanced dialogue with colleagues.
-
Podium Sessions: These presentations include five minutes for questions on a scientific or professional paper presented or sponsored by an ONS member.
-
Poster Sessions: These sessions offer a display presentation of abstracts consisting of the process and outcome of a scientific or professional project. Posters will be grouped by topic and displayed during Congress. The authors of poster abstracts will be present at specified times.
