Conference Goal
This eConference will engage learners in discussions about current trends in radiation oncology and the role of the radiation nurse in these therapies.
Objectives
By the end of this eConference, the learner will be able to:
- Summarize advances radiation therapy for use in disease and symptom management.
- Identify innovative strategies to improve patient and staff safety related to radiation therapy.
- Participate in discussions about the nursing role in providing and measuring quality care for individual receiving radiation therapy.
Continuing Nursing Education
Attendees of the ONS Radiation eConference can earn continuing nursing education credit (approximately 14.5 contact hours). Participants must attend the entire conference and submit a completed evaluation within the specified time frame to receive CNE credit.
ONS is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s (ANCC) Commission on Accreditation.
ONS is approved as a provider of continuing education by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider #2850.
