With health and oncology care changing rapidly, oncology nursing practice is influenced by trends in evidence-based practice and nursing-sensitive outcomes, which are components of high-quality cancer care. Journal club programs can augment the skills of oncology nurses in evaluating the literature and translating research findings to clinical practice, education, administration, and research.
ONS members have asked for more journal club information; as a result, every issue of the Clinical Journal of Oncology Nursing and the Oncology Nursing Forum includes a journal club article with corresponding discussion questions. We are delighted to unveil our latest project – The ONS Virtual Journal Club. Come join us monthly to review an ONS journal club article then choose a time to chat with the author to help expand your knowledge of the topic and then take the CNE test and evaluation to get CNE credit. Increase your knowledge and evidenced based practice in oncology practice today!
