Radiation Oncology

Very little is currently available related to determining nurse staffing in radiation oncology.

The American College of Radiation Oncology issues its 2012 Manual for ACRO Accreditation that includes general staffing recommendations (p. 8). The Guidelines are available online.

The American Society of Radiation Oncology is assembling a focus group look at the “Blue Book” which looks The Blue at staffing patterns in radiation oncology. More detail will be added when their work is done.
