Major Educational Grant Support and Corporate Sponsorships

ONS is committed to educating its members and others who benefit from ONS events, resources and publications, about its corporate support policies. The key principles of the Oncology Nursing Society, ONS Foundation, and the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation Corporate Support Position guide ONS and its affiliates in the appropriate use of commercial support in all areas and in maintaining independence from commercial interests.

ONS and its affiliates have obtained external financial support without sacrificing the integrity of program content, the Society, or its members. Outside support includes grants from foundations, federal and state agencies, and commercial interests. Without this support, organizations, institutions, and individuals might not gain access to the educational opportunities essential for maintaining quality in nursing practice.

ONS is committed to the principle of transparency—the disclosure of activities reflecting participation in efforts of public interest. These include such areas as funding for educational activities and corporate sponsorships, and ONS will disclose all corporate grants and sponsorships to our members and the public. The list reflects contributions to the Oncology Nursing Society only and not funds received by the ONS affiliated organizations.
