The Advocacy 201: Taking it to the Next Level webcourse is for nurses who have a basic understanding of health policy advocacy and want to become more deeply involved. A series of lessons, hands on activities and written assignments will help you develop the skills you need to develop stronger relationships with elected officials, impact laws and regulations before implementation, track the legislative progress, and develop health policy leadership skills. To get the full benefit of this course, you should already have basic knowledge about the legislative process and health policy advocacy.
