  This letter offers support for healthcare reform measures and offers some suggestions for further work to support the American healthcare system through nursing.
• White House visits and calls
  ONS regularly participates in conference calls with the White House, designed to ensure that nurses are included in healthcare reform discussions. ONS President Carlton Brown, PhD, RN, AOCN^®, recently led a delegation to the White House where President Obama spoke about his plan to reform America’s healthcare system.
• Commitment to Quality Health Reform: A Consensus Statement from the Nursing Community
  The Oncology Nursing Society joined with others in the nursing community to put forward healthcare reform solutions for improving access, cost, and quality.
