ONS Leadership SPA
Thursday, November 10 • 8:30 am–5 pm
Immerse yourself in a relaxing environment designed to take you on a
journey of leadership learning. Using health-spa themes, the ONS Leadership
SPA will enable you to incorporate leadership principles where you work
and live. You must experience this learning opportunity that takes you
far beyond typical slide presentations.
The ONS Leadership SPA will help you tap into your potential and passion for leadership and provide you with practical, action-oriented leadership training to help manage your life and career more effectively. Developed by oncology nursing leaders, this workshop will teach you to use and apply specific business leadership tools to your daily routine and work settings.
Topics will include creating an image makeover of nursing in the media, how to massage workplace conflict, team work, time management, and conducting successful meetings. In addition, you will be treated to a ‘SPA-like’ atmosphere, and learn fun stress-reduction techniques that will help you remain calm, centered, and relaxed when you need it most.
Information for SPA Attendees
Dress is very casual. We encourage you to wear your sneakers, shorts, gym/spa outfits, running
gear, or other relaxing clothing-- keeping with the theme of this event.
You will receive course materials in your packet that will be distributed
in the Leadership SPA conference area, Regency Ballroom B, at the Hyatt
Regency Phoenix at Civic Plaza. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
