ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Course

May 13 and 14 • 8 AM - 5 PM

Worth 13.5 contact hours, this course focuses on the theoretical knowledge base needed to administer these treatments, including cellular kinetics, drug classifications, safe handling, administration, side effect management, and patient education. Those who successfully complete the course and post-test will receive a provider card indicating they've taken the course and have the knowledge necessary to administer these treatments. Attendees will receive a copy of ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Guidelines and Recommendations for Practice (2nd ed.) as well as detailed handout materials at the course.

ONS Radiation Therapy Course

May 14 • 8 AM - 5 PM

Worth 7.0 contact hours, this course focuses on principles of radiation therapy, new radiation treatment modalities, and side effect management. In addition, you can connect with other nurses during roundtable discussions at lunch. All attendees will receive a copy of the ONS Manual for Radiation Oncology Nursing Practice and Education (3rd ed.) as well as detailed handout materials at the course.

ONS Leadership Short Course on Professional Abilities

May 14 • 8 AM - 4:30 PM

Are you ready to move forward in your career, but not quite sure where to start? Are you thinking about a new role or do you simply want to improve your skills in your current role? As a nurse, you are a leader, an advocate, and a change agent. Explore ways to apply these skills to your personal and professional development.
