Mission of the ONS website
The mission of the ONS website is to:
- Create a responsive, reliable, user-friendly communication mechanism for ONS members, working groups and leadership.
- Provide the ONS membership with access to timely evidence-based information they can use in their clinical settings, research efforts and in the education of both the public and health professionals about cancer and its treatment.
- Enhance the global image of the professional oncology nurse to the public, elected officials, the media and other health care professionals.
ONS Website Recognition
The ONS Web site is mentioned and reviewed in several nursing-related print and online publications and has been recognized for its use of technology to advance the scientific base of nursing. View the ONS Web site reviews and awards.
