Both the ONS Website and theCancerJourney.org have won a Web Award from the Web Marketing Association. The ONS Website has won a 2010 Health Care Provider of Excellence Web Award, and theCancerJourney.org has also won a 2010 Health Care Standard of Excellence Web Award. According to the Web Awards criteria, ”the Standard of Excellence Web Award recognizes the standard excellence for which all web sites should strive.” Entries are judged on the following seven criteria: design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, copywriting, and ease of use.

theCancerJourney.org site won a 2010 APEX Award, which is based on excellence in graphic design, editorial content and the ability to achieve overall communications excellence.
Web Marketing Association's 2008 Web Award
theCancerJourney.org won the 2008 Web Marketing Association Healthcare Standard of Excellence Web Award for Outstanding Achievement in Website Development.
2007 eHealthcare Leadership Award

The Davey Award winners are selected by the International Academy of Visual Arts and judged to evaluate distinction in creative work. For 2007, the ONS Website has been awarded the Silver Award.

The ONS Website and theCancerJourney.org, have been awarded The American Association Of Webmasters, "Gold" Award. The sites were recognized for their "clean design and layout" and also for their "quality content and informative information."

The ONS Website has been selected by World Wide Web Awards to receive their "Gold" award for its "outstanding web design and layout."

The ONS Website has been awarded The American Association Of Webmasters, "Gold" Award. The site was recognized in the HealthCare Provider Category. The award recognized that the ONS Website "displays a nice clean Design and Layout of Website, with quality content and informative information for your visitors."
10th Annual Webby Awards
theCancerJourney.org has been named an Official Honoree in the 10th Annual Webby Awards. Webby Awards recognize sites that demonstrate a standard of excellence signifying an outstanding caliber of work. Sites were evaluated using numerous criteria including content, structure and navigation, visual design, interactivity, functionality, and overall experience.
The ONS Website has received the Gold award from the 2005 World Wide Web Health Awards. ONS received the Gold award in the Association / Professional Society division. In fact, the ONS Website was the only Gold award winner in the entire Miscellaneous / Professional classification which is comprised of seven divisions. There were over 1100 entries for this competition.
The World Wide Web Health Awards is a program that recognizes the best health-related Web sites for consumers and professionals. A panel of international health information and Internet experts judged entries based on numerous criteria including content, creativity, site design, navigation, accuracy, success in reaching the targeted audience and overall quality. The ONS Website scored in the highest category which is Exceptional.
Medicine on the Net
The March 2006 issue of Medicine on the Net announced the winners from the 2006 Medicine on the Net Web Excellence Awards. The ONS Website has received the Outstanding Content award in the Medical Association category and the Best User Interface award in the Healthcare Professionals Portal category. theCancerJourney.org has received the Outstanding Content award in the Consumer Portal category and an honorable mention for Best Design in the Consumer Portal category.
