Mara Mogensen Flaherty Memorial Lectureship Award (F001)

Award:  The lecturer receives a $2,000 honorarium, airfare to ONS Congress to present lecture, and two-day per diem expenses.

Purpose: The Mara Mogensen Flaherty Memorial Lectureship Award supports an annual lecture on a topic related to the psychosocial aspects of cancer diagnosis, treatment, and care presented by an individual who is involved in the field of psychosocial oncology, cancer care, education or research. The lecture is presented at the ONS Annual Congress.

Eligibility: Candidates for this award must be health care professionals, and may or may not be members of ONS. Candidates must agree to attend the ONS Annual Congress to deliver a prepared 45-minute lecture and to work with the Oncology Nursing Press staff to prepare the lecture for subsequent publication in the Oncology Nursing Forum.
