ONS Foundation Small Research Grants

All awards, grants, and scholarships are tentative and subject to change based on funding availability.

2009 ONS Foundation Small Grant Funding (RE01)

Award: Small grant awards available at $10,000. Funding period is for 2 years.

Purpose: These grant awards are designed to support oncology nursing research conducted by beginning and experienced researchers. The majority of the small grants are for general investigator-initiated oncology topics. Funding preference is given to research that addresses the ONS Research Priorities and Research Agenda.

Eligibility: The principal investigator must be actively involved in some aspect of cancer patient care, education, or research. Funding preference is given to projects that involve nurses in the design and conduct of the research activity. Membership in ONS is not required.

Application Deadline: November 1, 2008

Letters of Intent Due: October 1, 2008
