Breast Health: It's Everybody's Business - Part I

Part one of this institute focuses on the breast care continuum from normal breast health, screening and high risk guidelines, with an introduction to breast cancer treatment. The presenters use a case study approach and employ audience response technology to provide an interactive experience.

Breast Health: It's Everybody's Business - Part II

Part two of this institute discusses treatment options in greater detail and reviews the implications of high-risk management for various pathological diagnoses, potential treatment pathways, and emerging therapies related to the care of persons with breast cancer. Psychosocial issues including body image concerns and survivorship issues will also be highlighted. This session concludes with a panel discussion of various nurse navigators’ roles, along with useful information in planning and implementing a successful breast health program in your community.
