ONS List Rental Information

The Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) provides one-time mailing list rentals to companies and organizations seeking to reach ONS members with information related to oncology nursing and quality cancer care.

Membership Information
ONS has a membership of more than 35,000 registered nurses and other healthcare professionals dedicated to excellence in patient care, education, research, and administration in oncology nursing. Please note that approximately 20-25% of members do not allow for their name and address to be included in the list rental database. As a result, the total number of names available for purchase is approximately 26,000.

Available Demographic Selects and Approximate Counts
ONS maintains demographic data on its members covering a variety of professional, geographic, and biographic information. Please note that demographic selects are not available for all requests. Please refer to your pertinent licensing agreement (below) for restrictions.

To assist you in your demographic selection process, the following documents detail the most recent quarterly demographic information of the ONS Membership. All data represent approximate counts based on information provided by members. Please note that actual available counts will vary slightly based on current membership at the time of request as well as member mailing preferences. To obtain a personalized quote, email a list of your desired criteria to the ONS Marketing Team.

Important List Rental Information
Only organizations interested in providing information related to oncology nursing or quality cancer care will be considered for rental of the ONS membership list. All other requests will be returned.

Requirements and pricing can be found in the licensing agreement, (see appropriate licensing agreement information, below). Samples of all mailing pieces must be submitted for approval before any list rental requests are fulfilled.

ONS provides only name and preferred address (home or work as specified by each individual member) to list buyers which can only be used for the approved mail piece. Phone and fax numbers as well as e-mail addresses are not available for purchase. In addition, not all members allow for their name and address to be sold.

ONS has instituted a 60-Day Black Out Period. Any such mailings that promote a non-chapter supported, national conference* with an event date during any of the following time frames (30 days prior to or following an ONS conference):

*National conference is defined as any conference/symposium/continuing education opportunity that seeks attendees from more than a 100-mile radius from the list buyer's conference site.

Commercial Licensing Agreement Information

All commercial groups interested in renting the ONS membership list must download, complete, and submit the Commercial Licensing Agreement. Examples of organizations eligible for the commercial rate include:

• Pharmaceutical Companies
• List Brokers
• For Profit Companies/Organizations
• Organizations Recruiting Personnel (whether commercial or non-profit)

Examples of acceptable mailings include:

• Medical Updates
• New Product or Service Information
• Recruitment for Staffing Purposes

Please note that in order to process your list rental request in a timely manner, the Commercial Licensing Agreement must be accurately completed and sent to both parties listed on the agreement. A sample-mailing piece must accompany your request.

Non-Profit Licensing Agreement Information
All non-profit groups interested in renting the ONS membership list must download, complete, and submit the Non-Profit Licensing Agreement. Examples of organizations eligible for the non-profit rates include:

• Clinics
• Universities
• Other Non-profit Organizations

Examples of acceptable mailings include:

• Conference Information
• CNE Opportunities
• Symposium Information

Please note that in order to process your list rental request, the Non-Profit Licensing Agreement must be accurately completed including non-profit federal tax id and sent to the contact listed on the agreement. A sample mailing piece must accompany your request.
