Patricia Degen, RN, MSN, MBA, OCN^®

Patricia Degen, RN, MSN, MBA, OCN^® received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Woman’s University in 1992 and a Masters in Nursing/Masters of Business in Health Care Administration from the University of Phoenix in 2007. Patricia has been an OCN certified nurse and member of the Oncology Nursing Society since 2003.

Patricia is a member of the Society of Clinical Research Professionals, the National Society for Health Care Quality, the Association of Clinical Research Professionals and the Texas Nursing Association.

Patricia is a Major in the Army Reserves and during an eighteen month tour worked as a staff nurse on a medical surgical oncology unit. She provided training and education programs in wound care, the role of the research nurse, and pain management. She was the process improvement officer.

Her employment background includes clinical and supervisory positions in the emergency department and in home health, and as a research nurse in thoracic, head and neck medical oncology department.
