ONS Trainer CoursesONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Trainer Course To be eligible to become a trainer, nurses must be an ONS member and have a bachelor's degree or higher in nursing or a health-related field and a current ONS Cancer Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Card, have a minimum of two years' experience administering chemotherapy, and have experience as a presenter of educational content. The fee for the ONS Cancer Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Trainer Course is $675. Nurses who attend this course in its entirety will earn 6.3 contact hours following submission of an evaluation form. ONS Radiation Therapy Trainer Course To be eligible to become a Radiation Therapy Course trainer, registered nurses must have a bachelor's degree or higher in nursing or a health-related field, maintain a current ONS membership, have a minimum of three years' radiation oncology nursing experience working in a radiation oncology department, and have experience presenting professional nursing-education content. The fee for the Radiation Therapy Trainer Course is $550. Nurses who attend the course in its entirety will earn 4.5 contact hours following submission of an evaluation form.
