32nd Annual Congress
April 24-27, 2007 • Las Vegas, NV
Everyone’s a Winner at the ONS 32nd Annual Congress
What happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas, at least as
far as the ONS 32nd Annual Congress
goes. When you leave Congress, you’ll take home valuable new knowledge
and information that will
enhance your nursing practice and improve patient care.
Worth approximately 23 contact hours, Congress is the #1 conference for
cancer nurses. The 2007 Congress will be held at the spectacular Mandalay
Bay Convention Center. By day, you’ll learn about hot topics in
cancer care, including chemotherapy, symptom management, radiation, patient
education, disease management, and more. Then at night, you can hit the
casinos, restaurants, and shops that only Vegas can offer.
As far as Congress sessions go, you pick the ones that interest you. All
sessions are grouped by topic, so planning your schedule is a cinch. This year’s topic tracks include:
- Types of Cancer and Treatment
|
|
|
|
- Practical Aspects of Clinical Practice
|
|
|
|
Sessions are also categorized by level of content to help you choose the
ones that are right for you.
- Introductory sessions require little or no knowledge of the topic.
- Intermediate sessions provide in-depth content to experienced
participants who have some working knowledge related to the topic.
- Advanced sessions provide integration of synthesis of data and
require specialized prior knowledge and critical thinking.
Congress also gives you the opportunity to network and share ideas with
more than 6,200 of your oncology peers. In addition, you’ll have a chance to meet with colleagues
who practice in your subspecialty at special interest group meetings.
