Continuing-Education Credits
Attendees can earn 13.6 contact hours if all educational sessions within the body of Institutes of Learning are attended. Additional contact hours may be earned through attendance at industry-sponsored ancillary events. Sessions that address pharmacology content have specified the number of minutes devoted to pharmaceutical therapy. Advanced practice nurses will be able to determine the total number of pharmacology hours attended and document this on their CNE certificate. ONS is accredited as a provider of continuing education in nursing by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation and by the California Board of Registered Nursing-BRN Provider No. 2850. Accreditation as an ANCC provider refers only to its continuing-education activities and does not imply ANCC Commission on Accreditation endorsement of any commercial products. The credits you earn at IOL qualify for ONC-PRO points needed for ONCC certification renewal.
