Get Ready to Get Certified
Preparing for a certification examination can be stressful, but ONS review courses will help you get ready to earn your OCN®, AOCNP®, or AOCNS® credential. Based on the test blueprints, these courses will prepare you and your fellow candidates for your exam and provide you with study tips and test-taking strategies.

OCN® Review
Thursday, November 8 • 6:30 am–5 pm
Friday, November 9 • 6:30 am–noon

Course tuition includes detailed handout materials and breakfast, coffee, and water on November 8 and 9 and lunch on November 8.

AOCNP®/AOCNS® Review
Wednesday, November 7, 11am–5 pm
Thursday, November 8, 8 am–4 pm

ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Course
Wednesday, November 7 • 8 am–5 pm
Thursday, November 8 • 8 am–5 pm

Worth 13.5 contact hours and designed to encourage consistency in administration, this course focuses on the theoretical knowledge base needed to administer these treatments, including:
• Cellular kinetics • Drug classifications
• Safe handling • Administration
• Side-effect management • Patient education

It also includes case studies relating to theoretical principles. Those who successfully complete the course and a post test will receive a provider card that indicates they’ve taken the course and have the knowledge necessary to administer these treatments.

Your tuition covers the course text—ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Guidelines and Recommendations for Practice—as well as detailed handout materials and breakfast, lunch, coffee, and water on both days of the course.

ONS Radiation Therapy Course
Thursday, November 8 • 8 am–5 pm

Worth 7.0 contact hours, this course will benefit inpatient and ambulatory-care nurses who care for patients receiving radiation therapy. Nurses new to radiation will also find it useful. Course topics include principles of radiation therapy, new radiation treatment modalities, and side effect management. In addition, you can connect with other nurses during roundtable discussions at lunch. Your tuition covers the course text—ONS Manual for Radiation Oncology Nursing Practice and Education (3rd ed.)—as well as detailed handout materials, breakfast, lunch, coffee, and water on the day of the course.
