The Oncology Nursing Job Shadowing/Mentoring Program Toolkit for Successful Outcomes

The Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) felt a responsibility to address the nursing shortage and develop an interest in job shadowing and mentoring. The goal of this kit, which was developed by a team of experts in the field of oncology nursing, is to assist chapters, healthcare institutions, and educational institutions (e.g., high schools, colleges, universities) in attracting new people into the healthcare field, specifically oncology nursing.
