ONS Receives Website Honors

PITTSBURGH, PA – September 30, 2010 – The Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) was honored by the Web Marketing Association with awards for their website excellence. The ONS website (www.ons.org) won the 2010 Health Care Provider of Excellence Web Award, and ONS’s patient-focused website, The Cancer Journey (www.thecancerjourney.org) won the 2010 Health Care Standard of Excellence Web Award. According to the Web Awards criteria, the Standard of Excellence Web Award recognizes the standard excellence for which all web sites should strive. Entries are judged on design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, copywriting, and ease of use.
