The American Cancer Society (ACS) is a nationwide, community- based voluntary health organization. The ACS's extensive web site provides medical information, treatment decision tools, news updates, and support resources. You can also read about survivors' experiences, find hope, and inspire others. Material is available in Spanish and Asian languages. Includes message board for discussion

Association of Cancer Online Resources, Inc.
Designed as a resource for those affected by cancer, this web site is a collection of online communities designed to provide timely and accurate information in a supportive environment. Includes an overview of types of cancer, treatment options, and clinical trails.

Cancer.gov
The National Cancer Institute's cancer topics page features an overview of cancer, including treatment, prevention, causes, screening and testing, clinical trials, and statistics.

Cancer Facts
This online resource for cancer patients, their families, and caregivers is dedicated to delivering accurate and personalized information at a time of need. The NexProfiler™ Tools for Cancer help people with cancer make informed treatment decisions for an optimal outcome.

Cancer Information Service (CIS)
The National Cancer Institute's (NCI's) Cancer Information Service (CIS) is a national information and education network. The CIS is a free public service of the NCI, the Nation's primary agency for cancer research. The site includes cancer news, publication orderings, cancer resources. Also available in Spanish.

CancerQuest
This site was created to teach the biology of cancer. No assumptions are made about previous knowledge of cancer or biology. The target audience for the site includes cancer patients, their families and friends, medical workers and others interested in the subject. Includes overview of cell structure and division, genetics, tumor biology and cancer treatments. Available in large print.

Cancersource
Features complete and current cancer information available. Site features interactive tools and community resources. Sites include patient, women's cancer and healthcare professionals. CancerSource.com provides users with interactive community opportunities such as live chat events, message boards, mailing lists and support groups as well as several valuable online resources such as our cancer drug database, developed in conjunction with the American Cancer Society, and our Cancer Dictionary.

Cancer Statistics 2007
Provided by the American Cancer Society. The ACS tracks cancer occurrence, including the number of deaths, cases, and how long people survive after diagnosis. ACS also tracks data regarding behaviors that influence the risk of developing cancer and the use of screening tests.

Oncolink
OncoLink is designed to make it easy for the general public to navigate through the pages to obtain the information that they want. Through OncoLink you can get comprehensive information about specific types of cancer, updates on cancer treatments and news about research advances. The site updates the information everyday and provides information at various levels, from introductory to in-depth. Key content available in Spanish.

Cancer.net
Cancer.net, the patient information website of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), is designed to help patients and families make informed health-care decisions. The site provides information on more than 120 types of cancer and cancer-related syndromes, clinical trials, coping, side effects, a Find an Oncologist database, and patient support organizations.

TLC Tender Loving Care
TLC Tender Loving Care is a not-for-profit patient service of the American Cancer Society intended to make coping easier for women experiencing hair loss due to chemotherapy, radiation treatment or surgery. In addition to helpful editorial advice from the experts at the American Cancer Society, TLC offers a large selection of hair loss products for cancer patients as well as special products for breast cancer patients and survivors.
