Pancreatic Cancer Patient Resource Area

The pancreas is a gland located behind the stomach. It is shaped a little bit like a fish with a wide head, a tapering body, and a narrow pointed tail. Cancer of the pancreas is the fourth leading cause of cancer death in the United States. This year approximately 32,000 Americans will die from cancer of the pancreas.
