ONS is offering its membership a discounted subscription rate
to the Surgical Oncology Clinics of North America (SOCNA),
published by Elsevier. For 2006, a special rate of $85 has
been established for ONS active members—this is a 50%
discount off the regular individual subscription rate.
New Campaign
Effects Positive Change in Patient Safety and Advocacy
The American Nurses Association (ANA) is working as a strategic
partner with the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI)
in the Saving 100,000 Lives Campaign, which aims to educate
nurses and others on ways to enhance patient safety in the
hospital setting. This breakthrough campaign provides a unique
opportunity for nurses to make an impact in effecting positive
change in patient safety and advocacy at individual hospitals
