FAQ About Online ONF and CJON

How do I get access to full-text articles from the Clinical Journal of Oncology Nursing (CJON) or the Oncology Nursing Forum (ONF)?
If you are an ONS member or journal subscriber, simply go to the ONF/CJON home page, select a journal, and login using your MetaPress username and password. (First-time users will need to create a username and password and then enter your ONS member number on the resulting page to gain access.) Nonmembers can join ONS to gain full access to content of both journals, or they may utilize the site's pay-per-view option (see below). Institutions should contact marketing@ons.org.

How do I purchase a pay-per-view article?
Simply locate the article you wish to purchase and add it to your shopping cart. The shopping cart logo is on the top right of the page. To purchase an article, you will need to use your MetaPress username and password.

What should I do if I forget my MetaPress username and/or password?
Go to the main Log In page and click on the Help link under Registration Help.

Who should I contact for technical assistance with the ONF and CJON Web sites?
For technical assistance, e-mail support@metapress.com or call toll-free +1-877-773-3833.

Are site licenses for ONF and CJON available?
Yes. Site licenses can be purchased by medical libraries, hospitals, universities, and other such institutions. For information, contact marketing@ons.org.

I noticed a link called “Marked Items” on the ONF and CJON Web sites. What are marked items?
The marked items list allows you to indicate items of interest discovered during your current session. You can mark an item by clicking the Add to marked items link from anywhere on the site, and then go back to the page anytime during the current session.

I also noticed a link called “Saved Items.” What are they?
Saved items consist of both individual items and lists of items that one wishes to save to visit later. Unlike marked items, saved items can be saved permanently from one session to the next.

Please direct any other questions you may about the MetaPress ONF and CJON sites to support@metapress.com or call toll-free +1-877-773-3833. For assistance with the ONS Web site, please e-mail techsupport@ons.org or call +1-866-257-4667.

How do I subscribe to ONS’s journals?
CJON and ONF are only available as a subscription to institutions; individuals  cannot purchase a subscription. One-year and two-year institutional subscriptions are available by contacting marketing@ons.org.

How do I complete Continuing Education tests online?
Oncology Nursing Society members may take the test and get results immediately via the ONS Web site. Visit http://www.ons.org/ceCentral/more/CJON.shtml and find the test you would like to take. Login using your ONS membership number to access the site and follow the instructions.
