Consult an ExpertThe purpose of the consultation program is to provide research expertise to nurses needing guidance on research-related issues. Through the ONS Research Consultation Program, a volunteer nurse researcher will consult with you to help in the planning and designing of your research or answer specific research-related questions. Consultation is available to all ONS members. The Research Consultation Program can be utilized for individual research or chapter-generated research. Consultants are willing to work with novice researchers as well as experienced researchers. Area of research expertise and the topic of research interest are the criteria for matching you with an advanced nurse researcher. ONS Evidence-Based Practice Consultation Program The purpose of the evidence-based practice (EBP) consultation program is to provide EBP expertise to nurses needing guidance on how to identify, critically appraise, and use evidence to solve clinical problems. Through the ONS EBP Consultation Program, a volunteer EBP expert will consult with you to answer questions related to implementing evidence-based practice or to help in the planning and designing of your practice change project.
