Georgia M. Decker MS, RN, CS-ANP, CN®, AOCN®

Georgia's career in nursing began when she earned her BSN from Carlow University (formerly, Mount Mercy College), continued when she earned her Masters in Nursing with a clinical specialty in oncology from Russell Sage College and her post-masters certificate as an Adult Nurse Practitioner from Syracuse University. She has recently earned a certification in Clinical Nutrition. Georgia’s 40 years in nursing have included roles as a staff nurse, clinical nurse specialist, nurse educator, nurse faculty, cancer screening program director and nurse practitioner.  Almost 30 years have been spent in oncology. Her interest in Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) Therapies for symptom management during and after cancer therapies began as a result of conversations with patients. 

Barbara Grant, MS, RD, LD, CSO®

Barbara is the outpatient oncology clinical dietitian at the Saint Alphonsus Cancer Care Center, in Boise, Idaho.  She received her BS in Foods and Nutrition from Washington State University, completed her dietetic internship at the University of Minnesota Hospital and Clinics, and received an MS in Adult Education from the University of Idaho.  Barbara has over 27 years experience in oncology nutrition and is a Board Certified Specialist in Oncology through the Commission on Dietetic Registration. She is a member of the Oncology Nutrition Dietetic Practice Group of the American Dietetic Association and is an associate member of the Oncology Nursing Society.  She has authored numerous publications on diet, nutrition and cancer and has served as a volunteer on local and national boards and workgroups of the American Cancer Society, the National Cancer Institute, the American Dietetic Association, and the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
