Navigating the Schedule

In less than a month, we’ll be on the San Antonio River Walk, headed to Rita’s for a margarita after a day at ONS Congress! Now is the time to start thinking about what you want your conference experience to be like. The wide variety of educational offerings enable you to make ONS Congress a truly one-of-a-kind experience.

Before you arrive in San Antonio, you’ll want to do two things:

  • Download the ONS Congress mobile app by searching for “ONS Congress” in the App Store or Google Play (available April 10).

Begin with the basics: The schedule is organized into five focused tracks: Clinical Practice, Advanced Practice, Leadership/Management/Education, Radiation, and Research. Each track has six one-hour sessions and one two-hour intensive session. Although most sessions run concurrently, a few sessions, called Power sessions, are unopposed. The must-see Power sessions cover hot topics that are relevant to a wide variety of attendees.

As you work your way through the online schedule and find the sessions you are interested in, click the small plus (+) sign to add it to your personal schedule. Decide whether you are someone who loves spontaneity and adds multiple session options for each time period or someone who prefers to have a concrete, set schedule with only one selection per time period. Finally, keep in mind that some sessions will be recorded. Make note of the recorded sessions you want to watch and earn NCPD from the comfort of your own home from May 22–June 19, 2023. Knowing which sessions are offered after the conference concludes will help you decide which session to attend live at ONS Congress. Finally, don’t forget to carve some time out to visit the ONS Learning Hall activities and industry-supported events!

Once you’ve perfected your schedule, you can either print it or view it on the mobile app in real time. For those who like hard copies, you’ll also get the full schedule when you check into ONS Congress in your official Conference Guide, but because events are subject to change, the most up-to-date version is in the mobile app.
