Here's How You Can Earn up to 95.75 NCPD Contact Hours

Continuing education is something that all nurses need and as an oncology nurse, what better way to earn them by attending the 47th Annual ONS Congress®! ONS Congress provides attendees with the opportunity to earn up to 95.75 nursing continuing professional development (NCPD) contact hours. You can earn the hours by attending ONS Congress from April 27–May 1, 2022, in Anaheim, CA.

Earn your hours by attending intensive sessions or power sessions that are geared towards all oncology nurses and will discuss hot topics within the oncology field. If you are looking for more focused education in a specialty area or level of nursing then the track sessions are what you are looking for. ONS Congress once again will be offering concurrent sessions that cover five separate educational tracks: Advanced Practice, Clinical Practice, Leadership/Management/Education, Radiation, and Research. Additionally, you can view oral abstract sessions and ePoster presentations to earn additional hours.

Your educational experience doesn’t have to end when you leave Anaheim. Whether you missed a session during the conference or want to review one of your favorite sessions again, you will be able to access recorded sessions to enhance your ONS Congress experience, and it’s free with your registration! All attendees will receive a voucher for viewing recorded sessions when they return home. Take advantage of your access to ONS Congress content for an additional five weeks and view the recorded sessions by June 30, 2022, to continue learning on your own time.

To obtain your NCPD contact hours earned for ONS Congress, you’ll need to complete an online evaluation. An email with the evaluation links will be sent to all attendees. Evaluations for the in-person conference will be due by 11:59 pm ET on May 19, 2022. Evaluations for the recorded sessions will be due by 11:59 pm ET on June 30, 2022.

No matter what you are looking for regarding educational content, you will be sure to find it at ONS Congress this year. The variety of topics being offered will satisfy your learning needs and assist you with your personal growth and professional development. We can’t wait to see you there!
