ONS offers oncology nurses a multitude of benefits through membership, including the opportunity to save hundreds on registration for the 47th Annual ONS Congress and access on-demand content following the conference.

Our members receive more for less when registering for ONS Congress. Members can take advantage of lower rate registration. Being a member also allows you to be among the first to be notified of scholarship opportunities to attend ONS Congress.

Members who take advantage of early-bird pricing can save more than $100 on full conference pricing ($595 early-bird price; $725 regular price), whereas nonmembers may see full conference pricing at $1,005. For daily rates, members can save even more ($260 on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and $130 on Sunday for members; $368 on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and $195 on Sunday for nonmembers), and student and retired nurses can also take advantage of savings when registering.

To see additional savings, take advantage of group registration for ONS Congress. ONS members who join their local ONS chapters often travel and attend ONS Congress together. Groups of 10 or more can receive 10% off the registration price. For more information on group registration rates, contact ONS Customer Relations at 866-257-4667 or help@ons.org.

But the rewards don’t stop there: if you love your ONS Congress experience, you’ll enjoy the same feeling all year long with ONS’s learning, networking, and career opportunities and clinical practice resources. ONS members can also receive discounts on other ONS conferences, certifications, books, courses, and more. Members also see free subscriptions to the Clinical Journal of Oncology Nursing, Oncology Nursing Forum, and ONS Voice, discounts on all courses and learning materials, and direct connections to fellow oncology nurses and opportunities to learn from chapter leaders and peers. As an ONS member, you are also granted access to the ONS Communities—a platform that brings together nurses from across the country or around the world in similar areas of practice to discuss their questions, experiences, challenges, and successes. And ONS Congress is a great place to meet those colleagues face to face.

“I believe that ONS supports its members more than other organizations I belong. Joining the local chapter of ONS and attending ONS Congress shaped my professional life and specifically to be an excellent oncology nurse. I was always shy but once I joined the group, I started to be involved in our community health, an active participant in our chapter's activity, eventually I served as chapter president, program chair (brought changes in our chapter), and excelled in my education. I believe that being an ONS member helped me to be who I am and hoped to become,” says Ghenet Ghebretatios.

Become a ONS member today and take advantage of savings on resources and the benefits of networking with oncology nurses and researchers everywhere. Learn how to become a member, or renew your current membership.
