March 19, 2021

Brought to you by PeerView Institute

Oncology nurses and advanced practice clinicians are key drivers of care during the new management era for chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL)—where the emergence and validation of multiple novel agent classes, such as BTK and BCL-2 inhibitors has offered patients a variety of effective therapeutic options that may be tailored to certain disease characteristics or a specific patient’s therapeutic needs.

This NCPD/ILNA-certified program held in conjunction with the 46th Annual ONS Congress will combine concise foundational overviews focusing on the practical application of the latest evidence on targeted therapeutics to nursing care, including important toxicity management, dosing, and drug interaction information, and the emerging wave of new combinatorial and cell therapy-based approaches. Our experts will also present a rich collection of cases, clinical examples from nursing practice, and vignettes designed to explore how nurses can be the cornerstone of the management team. This event, developed in collaboration with the CLL Society, will also feature a patient video testimonial on the nurse–patient relationship and reinforce the key role of nurses as patient educators during the therapeutic journey. We hope you will join us for this informative web broadcast on April 22, 2021 at 9:00 AM EDT.
