You have the firsthand clinical experience to understand the implications of healthcare strategy and the knowledge to envision the future of the oncology nursing profession. As you tirelessly strive to improve patient outcomes, enhance quality of life for patients and their families, and advocate for more effective nursing policies, you are already on your way to a leadership role.

Serving on a board of directors is an effective way to engage and implement the change that you’d like to see in your practice. Use your experience to shape the future for oncology nurses and patient care either through ONS or at any number of healthcare institutions. Oncology nurse leaders play a vital role in cancer care as we move forward. Gain the skills you need to serve with confidence.  

This on demand course is free to ONS members and mandatory for applicants interested in running for a director at large position with the ONS Board of Directors. Instructions on how to immediately access the course will be sent to you in an automatically generated email receipt after you register. You will enjoy continuous access for six months.

Expected Outcome
