ONS believes that every nurse is a leader. You’ll enhance your skills through this intensive nine-week program as you learn to apply principles and theories of leadership to your nursing practice and explore key components of leadership such as communication, teamwork, change theory, mentorship, advocacy, ethics, and more. Throughout the course, you’ll work in tandem with a mentor, network through discussions with fellow students and faculty, complete comprehensive self-assessments, and learn through multiple formats, including audio, video, and interactive activities.

Due to the interactive nature of this course, there are a limited number of seats available for each term. Please note that each course participant is required to identify a mentor for the course. Mentors are not assigned by ONS.
