Course content has been created in collaboration with the American Society of Hematology (ASH) and the Association of Physician Assistants in Oncology (APAO).

Expected Outcome

Upon completion of this activity, the learner will

  • Demonstrate foundational knowledge of the APP role in caring for patients with hematologic disorders and malignancies by passing the post-test with a minimum score of 80% and
  • Demonstrate foundational knowledge of managing hematologic disorders and malignancies by passing the post-test with a minimum score of 80%.

Target Audience

This course is designed to meet the educational needs of advanced practice providers (nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and/or clinical nurse specialists) with limited or no prior hematology experience or knowledge.
