AML Matters: Multidisciplinary Approach to Testing and Diagnosis, Evaluation of Risk and Personalized Treatment Selection

Diagnosis and care of patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) require a skillful collaboration of providers, nurses, cytopathologists, and other disciplines coming together to develop an individualized approach to care. This module will focus on helping enhance nurses' understanding of the role that cytogenetics and molecular markers play in helping to diagnose and risk stratify AML, and how these factors then in turn impact treatment decision making and supporting care provided to the patient.
