The ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate Renewal Course will guide you through four strategically planned case studies to ensure that your chemotherapy and immunotherapy knowledge stays current and you’re continuing to progress as an experienced oncology RN.

Eligibility: If you have earned your ONS Provider Card and ONCC Certificate of Added Qualification through the ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certificate Course, you will be eligible to renew through the ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate Renewal Course every two years, assuming that you are not more than 30 days past your expiration date. Check your ONS Provider Card or ONS profile for the expiration date of your card.

This course is offered on demand. Instructions on how to immediately access the course will be sent to you in an automatically generated email receipt after you register. You will enjoy continuous access for 180 days.

Expected Outcomes

Upon completion of this activity, the learner will demonstrate knowledge of chemotherapy and immunotherapy administration by passing the post-test with score of 80% or higher.

Target Audience

This course is limited to nurses who took the ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certificate Course and presently hold and desire to maintain a current ONS Provider Card and ONCC Certificate of Added Qualification.

ILNA Breakdown

Candidates may claim 5.4 NCPD or ILNA points in any area of their choosing on the following blueprint areas:  Disease-Related Biology, Oncologic Emergencies, Professional Practice, Scientific Basis for Practice, Symptom Management, Treatment, Preparative Regimens, Early Post-Transplant Management, Graft-versus-Host Disease Prevention and Management, Late Post-Transplant Management.

Candidates will not be able to place the 5.4 ILNA points under multiple categories if the total number of points claimed exceeds the total NCPD points for the offering.
