Mayer, PhD, RN, AOCN®, FAAN, who, along with all previous CJON editors, the CJON Editorial Board, and the ONS Publications Department, have established journalistic excellence lifting oncology nursing clinical practice. Rest assured, I relish the opportunity to contribute to CJON as it continues to influence evidence-based, innovative clinical oncology care.”

CJON has had outstanding editors in its history and Ellen Carr will continue that tradition,” Brenda Nevidjon, MSN, RN, FAAN, ONS chief executive officer, said. “Her background as a journalist prior to becoming a nurse suits her well for this position. Having worked together many years ago on ONS News, I know personally the quality of her work and have seen her publishing expand through the years.”
