The Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) was recognized for excellence in publishing by the Association Media and Publishing (AM&P) during the organization’s 34th Annual EXCEL Awards Gala in Tysons Corner, VA. ONS won AM&P’s Bronze EXCEL Award in three categories which demonstrates ONS’s commitment to communicating oncology-focused news and information to healthcare professionals who care for patients with cancer and their families.
ONS received Bronze EXCEL Awards for:
• Books, Non-Technical: This Should Not Be Happening: Young Adults With Cancer by Anne Katz
• Feature Article, Journals: “Climate Change and Cancer Care” editorial by Deborah Mayer and Mary McCabe, Clinical Journal of Oncology Nursing, June 2013
• Web Publishing, General Excellence, Magazine: ONS Connect Website.
