We are thrilled to gather once again as a group of nurses sharing our passion for providing the best cancer care possible to our patients! We hope you will find your time in Washington, DC, not only educational but invigorating. We have opportunities available for you to refresh and recharge so you can continue to have an overflowing cup to pour from.

Check out the ONS Zen Den for relaxing activities. During multiple sessions of chair yoga, you can perform gentle stretching and breathing exercises to combat the strains of prolonged sitting. There is no need for you to bring yoga mats or change your outfit for this activity. The Meditation Lounge, sponsored by Astellas, offers informative sessions, including Stress Less, which will offer practical strategies to combat stress and cultivate peace of mind in minutes. Guided Meditation will use body scan and grounding meditation to refresh your mind and body. All Day Energy will provide you with techniques to manage energy levels and sustain peak performance to help meet the demands of your daily schedule while maintaining your vitality and purpose. Other re-energizing sessions available in the ONS Zen Den include Sleep Hygiene and Breathwork. The dog-petting lounge is also available for a quick cuddle with a cute dog.

The session Practicing Resilience in Your Daily Life in the Ballroom on Thursday will explore the concepts of resilience and emotional intelligence that you can use in your daily life. Experts will guide you through practical strategies and engaging self-awareness exercises.

The Energize and Empower Zumba Power Hour hosted on Saturday, April 27, at 6 am is an invigorating group fitness activity that will not only help you feel energized but also promotes the spirit of community and togetherness. This event is offered by the Oncology Nursing Foundation with support from the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Separate registration is required, add it onto your ONS Congress registration. Proceeds will support the Ann Olson Scholarship Fund, which provides oncology nurses with opportunities to pursue higher education through a doctoral degree.

The 3rd Annual ONS Storytelling Session on Saturday is an opportunity to hear fellow oncology nurses use the power of storytelling as they share their experiences, challenges, and lessons that participants can learn from.

And finally, don’t forget to join us at the Attendee Reception on Saturday for light refreshments and music, and to celebrate your week of learning and connecting with others!

We hope you leave ONS Congress refreshed and invigorated with new ideas to implement into your daily life or your practice. Register today so you don’t miss out on all that ONS Congress has to offer.
