Learn to help address quality-of-life (QOL) issues with your patients to help them experience optimal QOL throughout the cancer continuum. The Quality-of-Life Issues online course presents an extensive look at QOL considerations related to sexuality, psychosocial issues, survivorship, palliative care, and end-of-life care. This course is designed for oncology nurses with some experience in oncology.

Expected Outcomes

Upon completion of this activity, the learner will demonstrate knowledge of quality-of-life issues associated with cancer by achieving a post test score of 80% or higher.

Target Audience

This course is appropriate for oncology nurses who wish to increase their knowledge of quality of life criteria specific to effective oncology nursing practice. This course is also appropriate for those who are preparing for oncology nursing certification examination and renewal via Individual Learning Needs Assessment (ILNA) renewal points.
