ONS develops and disseminates educational resources to support a variety of oncology nursing roles. ONS independent nursing education programs address best practices and treatment advances for oncology nurses, oncology advanced practice nurses and the entire multi-disciplinary cancer care team.
ONS uses grant funding to support both accredited and non-accredited medical education programs. Our innovative, evidence-based programs address clinical gaps and quality improvement through engaging live programs, videos, podcasts, online education, clinical resources and practice improvement projects.
ONS reaches over 122,000 nurses and other healthcare professionals with clinically relevant, evidence-based education and practice resources. ONS programs deliver measurable outcomes and identify new and existing educational needs to support a continuous cycle of needs assessment, learning, real-world implementation, reassessment, and new educational strategies.
