Pharmacogenomic Testing and Warfarin Management
Warfarin has been used for the prevention of thrombosis for more than 50 years and is the most frequently prescribed vitamin K antagonist in North America. Its mode of action is to prevent vitamin K from converting to vitamin KH2, thereby inhibiting clotting factors.
