The course does not have a faculty leader, but your facility may decide to purchase the Oncology Nurse Orientation Program Preceptor Bundle with access to preceptor materials to enhance your learning.
Students will receive 29.75 contact hours of NCPD upon the successful completion of the Oncology Nurse Orientation Program. No partial credit will be given. If you are unsuccessful in meeting the requirements to earn NCPD contact hours within the stated time or completion of the evaluation during your access to the course, ONS will not grant additional evaluation opportunities, extensions, transfers, cancellations, or refunds. If you are unsuccessful in earning NCPD and wish to pursue additional attempts, you will need to purchase and register for access to a new course section.
The learning outcome for this course is that the learner will increase knowledge of general principles of cancer care and apply lessons learned to increasing patient assignments
